Clark Dynamic Rebound Tester
With a universal design and low tolerance of +/- .8%, the CDR is ideal for usages such as: heavy individual parts or machine parts, testing in a production line, material identification and mould surface of a die. With so much versatility, the CDR is the perfect tool for you lab or workshop.
It uses a measuring principal that calculates the difference between the impact and rebound speed of a small impact body. This impact body bounds on the surface of a metal piece by the force of spring.
There are several impact devices available for the different materials and geometries. IN addition to hardness testing and gauge will also measure the U.T.S. The statistical program shows the mean value, the standard deviation, number of readings, maximum and minimum value.
